I’m angry – in the last month the Tories’ budget has cut the
taxes of millionaires while raising taxes on pensioners, and Tory MPs have
nodded through their devastating Health Bill. As Ed Miliband said, we're
seeing the Cameron project unravel and it’s taking ordinary people with
it.
And I’m angry that the Tory Treasurer has been caught red-handed offering cosy private dinners in Downing Street with David Cameron in return for hundreds of thousands of pounds in Tory donations. It's money like that that allows the Tories to outspend us during this election campaign and try to distract from what they’re doing to the country. You know that’s wrong. Ed Miliband has put forward tough proposals to limit donations to £5,000.
But until that funding reform happens, I need your help.
David Cameron and George Osborne might be able to throw millions on adverts, but they can’t compete with Labour supporters each making a contribution. You can help show that we’re with ordinary people, even in tough times.
Please donate £50 to pay for leaflets for a whole local ward - or whatever you can afford
Be part of the community that is standing up against the Tories.
If you make a contribution of £50, I can guarantee that it will make a difference on the front line of this campaign.
Let’s send the Tories a message on 3rd May - that we are a party that stands with the public in tough times.
