Dear Friend,

I hope this finds you well.

I am writing to you today to give you a chance to attend an exclusive Peace One Day conference on Tuesday 12 June in central London, UK.

Given that this is an exclusive event, there is limited space.  But, as a member of our core group of supporters based in the UK, we wanted to give you the opportunity to be part of the launch of this incredible initiative.  Please note that once the capacity is full, we will no longer be able to reserve you a space.  So if you are interested in joining us, please contact peace_guest1@peaceoneday.org at your earliest convenience for a chance to be there.

This event will launch our third coalition in support of our efforts for Peace Day 2012: the Global Truce 2012 NGO Coalition.  Peace One Day is delighted to partner with Interpeace to support the Global Truce 2012 campaign.  On 12 June, Peace One Day and Interpeace will be joined by a coalition of leading international NGOs committed to marking Peace Day 21 September through their work. This large scale support of organisations working towards peace and sustainability, as well as those that need peace to carry out their work, will contribute towards a global decrease in violent incidents on the day, adding to an overall goal of long term sustainable peace.

The impact of a day of global ceasefire and non-violence cannot be underestimated. Peace Day is an annual opportunity for NGOs to draw attention to their ongoing peacebuilding and life-saving activities within a global context and we are inviting all NGOs around the world to join us.

Once again, if you are interested and available to attend this conference on 12 June in central London, at 10am-12pm, please email peace_guest1@peaceoneday.org.

Many thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards,

In peace

Jeremy
